The Chesterfield City Council voted to ensure that kratom isn’t available to anyone under 21. Stores that sell kratom must ID customers to guarantee that buyers are of age. Out of Sight

The city wants stores to keep kratom products out of sight to make sure that vendors adhere to the new regulations. Instead, they decided that these items should be kept behind the counter, meaning customers would have to request them. Additionally, this further helps keep kratom out of the hands of kids.

More Education

Since many kratom users and sellers have wanted the industry regulated, they are happy with the new regulations. They also feel that more education is needed to keep current and potential customers informed with factual information about kratom.
